Dr. Lisa McDonald, Year 6

When I started with NextLevel Practice I was looking for support in how to manage a dental office effectively and be able to also have a balanced life at home.  I frequently felt overworked, overstressed, and was starting to not enjoy work and honestly even life. I was a work-a-holic!

Some of my biggest challenges were being confident, understanding how to manage by facts and not feelings or emotions and holding others accountable. I knew I needed something to change, but I had no idea what it was or how to do it.

Since I began working with NextLevel Practice and why I continue to work with them for 5 plus years, I need to constantly work with and be around others that help keep me accountable. The coaching that NextLevel provides helps keep me leading in a way that I am not naturally able to do. I have a higher Healthy Deserve Level and healthier leadership style when I have strong coaches and interact with them regularly. The training and coaching are also instrumental in getting my team on board and functioning in a healthy manner.

The biggest breakthrough for me has been I have realized over the past 6 months that most of my actions and decisions that I have made in my life were made based on fear. At the live event, “Live Your Dream” experiences in Las Vegas, I had a huge breakthrough when we did the eye contact exercise. Initially, this exercise was honestly painful for me. My face muscles were on fire trying to look into the eyes of my partner and not speak or laugh. When we did the exercise the second time, the speaker asked us to believe that we have everything inside us that we need. When I started thinking this, my body immediately relaxed, my face pain went away and I could look into my partner's eyes and felt peace. This was incredibly moving for me. I have brought this home and use it daily. When I start to feel stressed or anxious, I repeat in my head that I have everything that I need inside me. It helps me remain calm, gives me the ability to be present, helps me feel my confidence, and the ability to make choices and decisions based on facts. Total game changer for me!

Fact: When I started 5 years ago I was under $900K. Now I'm at $1.4M and growing.

Isn’t it time you took your practice to the NextLevel?
